2008 Vacation Bible School
Son Harvest County Fair
"Growing the Fruit of the Spirit"
Back to First Baptist Home Page
What ages can attend?
Our VBS is set up for children age four through grade six.
What will my child be doing?
We have games and activities, crafts, singing, Bible lessons, skits, shacks, and more!
What will my child be learning?
This year's Bible theme is centered on the "Fruit of the Spirit" from Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." Your child will learn about what it means to live by the power of God's Spirit.
What if my child has to miss an evening?
We wish every child could attend every evening, but we recognize that you may have other events that interfere. Please come when you are able.
What time should we arrive?
We ask you to bring your child by 5:45 the first evening you attend, and a few minutes before six each additional evening.
If you have any additional questions, please contact our VBS coordinator, Misty Lowe.
We encourage you to register ahead of time so that we can plan ahead concerning the numbers and ages of children who will be attending. However, you are also welcome to register when you arrive at VBS.
If you wish to register by phone, please leave a message at the church office (207.384.2063) and we will return the call to gather the information.
If you wish to register via e-mail, please send the following information to our VBS coordinator:
